This is the best five-minute analysis of how a walk cycle can convey unbridled joy I’ve ever seen in my life.

Just another reason I fucking love MLP, goddamn.

This walk cycle is just great! It’s really neat seeing what goes into an animation.

Yes actually! The breakdown of walk cycles is something they hammer into your brain when you’re an animation student, and he used references from the Animator’s Survival Kit, a book I study religiously XD
